Delhi is well connected with domestic and international flights from the Indira Gandhi International airport to all the major cities in the world. It is approximately 20 Kms from the conference venue and has two terminals:
1.Terminal 3 (T3): All the international flights and domestic flights by Air India and Jet airways operate from T3.
2.Terminal 1 (T1): Domestic flights by other low cost airlines like Indigo Airlines, Spicejet, Air Asia and Go Air operate from T1.
The main railway stations in Delhi are New Delhi, Old Delhi, Hazarat Nizammudin and Anand Vihar and the same are located approximately 02 - 08 Kms from the venue.
Banking & Exchange
Bank cash or Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located throughout the city at banks as well as in many other locations, including inside hotels, stores, restaurants, clubs and others. Most local banks are open Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM. A passport is required for money exchange. Due to demonetization old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes have been derecognized and new currency of Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 have been introduced.
Power is 220/240V, AC 50Hz. The Indian three-pin power outlet is different from that in many countries, so you will need an adaptor. If your appliances are 110V, please check if there is a 110/240V switch. If not, you will need a voltage converter.
